Luffy’s Mother – One Piece Theory

Who is really the mother of Luffy? In the animated series is still no single scene or moment, Giving us some information on that score But there are some nuances that fans noticed.

Everyone knows that in the universe of One Piece has characters, The game is close to the mother’s role and more like guardians for Luffy. Dadan was one of the key people at a time when Luffy was a child. It is worth adding Mackinac, which is not at all, But with some kind of hand too close to a mother for Luffy. Some people are of the opinion, It might be the same story, As with Portgas Ace, Dee Dee and Portgas Rouge – Death after giving birth because of too long childbearing. But we do know that she – the mother of one of the worst generation of the most important figures – Dee Monkey Luffy, future pirate king.

And she is a woman, which once had his eye the most wanted criminal in the world. If she was alive and knew about this world government, It is likely they would try to use it as leverage against Luffy and Dragon’s. In an interview with Oda we asked when we see parents Luffy And he said something in the spirit of: “Next you will appreciate that”. It has introduced fans to some confusion And after the release of a new chapter with Dragoni people become obsessed with the idea, That the woman with him – is the mother of Luffy, what is really hard to believe.

The whole story was far-fetched, Oda, apparently, said that in the next volume will be Dragon And we will be glad to see him. My opinion on this is that, That we will never see Luffy’s mother in the current timeline. It is likely that its appearance will be in the Dragon’s flashback And we learn that contributed to its establishment as a revolutionary, Why he went against the world government, Who founded the revolutionary army. Perhaps he and Mother were the founders of Luffy. All these details will be interested to know. For me, this is sentimental flashback, which will open the interior of the character

There is another incredible and stupid concept with world know. If Luffy mother was Tenryubito, It would make Luffy half Dee and Tenryubito, Those he would have been on both sides. It is a good idea, because such people tend to play the role of connecting link And change the world Most people hate Tenryubito, And the idea that Luffy’s father had a relationship with one of Tenryubito sounds promising.

It would be nice to see the flashback, which would have revealed the reason why the Dragon – the most wanted man in the world And why he was doing it all. I would like to recall the story in Loguetown, Dragan actually worried for Luffy. We definitely need to find out who is actually his mother Your opinion, who is in fact the mother of Luffy. You can always share in the comments I’m sorry, the video turned out so short.

The Traitors of Zou – One Piece Theory

How did Jack knew that Raizo was in the country of the Minkmen? And what is the reason why Jack was able to return to the ever moving Island of Zou? In this short theory, we will discuss the possibility of a traitor among the Minkmen race and the impact it would have in the story. Please keep in mind the previous theory I made entitled “Sanji and the Hidden Vinsmokes” as some parts of those theories are connected to this theory.

This theory would tackle the first half of what would happen with the team of Momonosuke and Duke Inuarashi that was left behind in Zou in order for Momo to learn the secret of Zunisha. The second half of the theory of what would happen in Zou, which is the secret of Zunisha, will be discussed in an upcoming video after this. By this point, it’s almost obvious that someone among the Minkmen gave a Vivre Card to Jack, as well as giving Jack the information that Raizo is at Zo, reason why Jack was able to go to Zou the first time and retrace the island back even though the country of Zou cannot be traced by a Log Pose. One theory I saw is a theory made by my friend: Joy Boy, in which he is predicting that Pedro or Carrot as the possible traitors of the Minkmen: but I beg to disagree. Looking back to my theory about Pedro being Sanji’s hidden brother, I did say that Pedro is a reference to the 4th Musketeer in reverse.

Because instead of joining the 3 Musketeers, he is at feud with them and I believe that instead of the Musketeers being heroes, like in the novel of Alexandre Dumas, in Oda’s reference, the Three Musketeers are actually the hidden villains. Yes, I predict that one of the traitors of Zou are the Three Musketeers, led by Sicilian And in the novel as well, I believe that Duke Inuarashi represents the Duke of Buckingham, which is actually a villain, but would be the hero in Oda’s reference. The Duke of Buckingham is also supposed to be assassinated in the story of the Three Musketeers.

But remember that I said “One of the Traitors” because the Three Musketeers, I believe, are not the only traitors of the Minkmen. I believe that the Three Musketeers of Zou are actually serving the equivalent of “Milady of Winter”, which is the villain of the novel Three Musketeers. One of the Four Emperors, Big Mom And if the Three Musketeers of Zou are actually serving under Big Mom, then who gave the Vivre Card to Jack? I believe the Mink who serves under Kaido, and is the cause of all these attacks on Zou Is none other than: Yomo, the Sheep.

Or maybe, a wolf in a sheep’s clothing? Not to mention that Yomo’s loose translation to Japanese Language is “of the Underworld” I have a theory coming up that Kaido is based off the King of the Underworld: King Yama and it’s obvious that Kaido is also based off the Mythological Japanese Yokai, which is known as “Oni” Sheeps also symbolizes dreams and nightmares, is it possible that Yomo’s ability causes sleep or drowsiness? “A Wolf in a Sheep’s clothing”, Ussop might need to “Cry Wolf” again.

One Piece Theory: The Final Tier of Haki & Spiritual Origin

So, this is an idea that I’ve been thinking about for a very long time, and just recently I found a way to put it all together and this is going to be a very very big one piece theory and it’s going to be a lot to take in, and just realize this is just a theory.

It’s not a hundred percent set in stone but I do believe with certain pieces of evidence in certain points, it can all link together and make a lot of sense for most people.

Now, in the whole cake island arc, we have this whole new idea of spirits and souls, all being established with Big Mom and Brook. With Big Mom, she has the ability to take, manipulate and transplant souls.

Brook has the ability to leave his body, with his soul and he has the ability to use different techniques with his soul… and I won’t be getting too much into the idea of souls in this theory. This is going to involve a bunch of different aspects but the idea of Souls being established in One Piece is very important because people used to not really recognize it very much.

But because the idea of souls has been so highlighted in the story, I believe it now as a lot of credibility to this idea that I’ve had for a very long time and that is of course Haki identity, and even a while back, I discussed how Souls and spirits could be transplanted into different objects.

This was like a year ago, so it was a very very early idea. All of these ideas will be any annotations on the screen so feel free to check them out, but understand this video, you don’t have to actually watch any of those videos. It would just give you a better understanding of where I’m coming from but to get more into what I am talking about, I need to break down the idea of Haki and spirits.

Haki is basically described as a mysterious power in every single person that is able to sense the spirits of others. Use your spirit as an armor and in some cases people can overpower the spirits of other people with Haki, and these are broken into the three colors of Haki.

  • Armament Haki
  • Observation Haki
  • Conquerors Haki

Now, this is all pretty obvious but this is very important because it is all linked to the person’s spirit and their soul and this is further proven. In the fact in punk hazard, Law was able to use an ability called the personality transplant surgery which slopped the spirits of different straw hats and put it into each other’s bodies. Now, when Sanji was an Nami’s body, he was unable to use any of his physical strength, however, he was still able to use his Haki… and this is only because his spirit and his Haki are linked together and function as one.

Now another point is early on when Blackbeard describes Luffy as having a very powerful chi or spirit and in some translations, he actually uses the word Haki which is interesting because Luffy did not have any of the colors of Haki early on in the series… and this isn’t the first time he mentions spirits either. Later on, in Impel Down, Blackbeard comments that Luffy’s spirit has grown much stronger and this is where Chi also known as Ki begins to sort of make sense in all this.

Now, Ki is a very Eastern idea. It is basically the belief in energy that exists in all living things… and this is sort of the basis for Dragon Ball Z and many other shonen as well… and we know that One Piece took heavy inspiration from Dragon Ball because even the Creator said that there would be no One Piece without Dragon Ball.

It’s very obvious that Haki is inspired by Ki… even uses the same Japanese symbol as Ki, however, this isn’t the only ability in One Piece that relies on spirit or Ki. Some other abilities that rely on spirit or Ki could potentially be a Rokushiki, Fishman karate and different swordsman styles.

Now, both of these martial arts styles allow a person to manipulate natural energy and much like Haki, they actually allow you to damage devil fruit users with Rokushiki. We see the use of natural energy and power being used especially by Lucci who is able to damage Luffy with his Rokuogan and with fishman karate, we have Jimbei being a perfect example.

Jimbei was able to use Fishman karate to stand up to both Luffy and Ace who are both devil fruit users who cannot be harmed by most physical attacks and even Koala is able to use Fishman karate which means that all living beings can use this energy… and one last side example is Okama Kenpo which allows you to use abilities like Ivankov’s DeathWink which sends out shock waves and once again goes back to the example of being able to use this sort of life energy to fight.

Now, Ki is used in many martial arts and could easily explain this sort of natural energy that is used in One Piece martial arts… and what’s interesting is that all of these styles are able to harm devil fruit users which are normally unharmed except by a Haki.

However, swordsmanship can take this one step further and how a person can use their spirit or natural energy to fight. One example of this is when Zorro was fighting Ryuma in Thriller Bark. We see that Zorro is mysteriously able to summon fire against Ryuma and ignite his wound… and we see when he uses this ability, there is a fire-breathing dragon behind him which is reflecting his spirit and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a fire based sword style with Kinnemon.

We’ve seen that he is very capable of summoning fire with his sword and this is named Fox fire style… and we see all the way back in the CP9 arc that Zorro sword techniques are linked to his spirit. When Zorro fought Kaku, Kaku frequently noted that Zorro’s spirit was extremely strong and this was even the reason why he could manifest Ashura… and I made a whole video going into detail about this.

The annotation will be on the screen if you want to check it out. Now the perfect example of how this all connects is through Luffy. Now, Blackbeard said that Luffy had naturally strong Chi and this could potentially be why it’s so easy for him to learn Haki and many other techniques… and even Rayleigh pointed out that Luffy can actually learn abilities like Haki very easily at least compared to most people and this is because Luffy has a very strong spirit… and people with strong spirits also seem to be able to summon fire.

We have the example from before of Zorro being able to summon fire against Ryuma. However, Zoro was also able to maintain fire and he’s unaffected by it because when he fought Mr 5, he was actually resistant to his flames. With Luffy, we see that he’s able to summon fire with red hawk and this is the representation of his brother who had the fire fruit.

Now, Sanji who was frequently able to summon fire uses flames as his primary weapon. Now, much like Zorro, he does not get burned by the flames, however, when asked about this, Oda replied that this was because Sanji’s spirit was burning hotter than the flames. Another perk of having a strong spirit is being unaffected by conquerors Haki and people who can manipulate souls or spirits like Big Mom.

When Big Mom was going on a rampage, she takes the soul from her son but it was stated beforehand that he should not be afraid or else his soul will get stolen and this shows that people with weak spirits also have vulnerable souls. Another example of this is in the recent chapter where Brook overpowers the homies with his own soul or spirit and basically deactivates them. So hopefully this explains sort of how spirits work in this regard… and all of these seems to link to a person’s chi or Ki… and a chi can affect both your body and spirit… and this chart shows perfectly how can affect different parts of your body and spirit.

A good example of this in One Piece is gear fourth. It was stated by Law that Luffy over uses Haki in gear fourth and since gear fourth relies mostly on Haki, when he runs out of Haki, he is spiritually and physically immobile. In other words, his spirit or Chi is like the ammunition and Haki is the weapon that fires off the bullet and there are several other examples of how Haki reflects the user’s spirit.

Gear fourth has Haki patterns which reflect Luffy’s devil fruit, and his Haki takes on a rubbery nature which represents his power and Doflamingo called this a fusion of Haki and Devil fruit powers.

Zoro’s armament Haki might represent Ashura which is why it looks so cursed and with Usopp, we see that he uses observation Haki to be able to snipe better. Haki and spirit might also explain many other abilities that have been shown in the series for example, Goldie Roger could hear the voices of all things which allowed him to read the poneglyphs despite not knowing the language on Fishman Island.

There was also a psychic named Madame Charlie who could accurately predict the future. Even Usopp has the ability to make his lies come true and this was pointed out by the author himself in a cover page… and one last range ability is ShiraHoshi who has the ability to communicate with Sea Kings which earns her the title of ancient weapon, Poseidon.

All of these abilities seem like they could originate from the user’s spirit and in a sort of roundabout way, it could link back to advanced Haki abilities. Don’t forget that Luffy only knows the basics of Haki right now. So, I hope you enjoyed this theory. Comment if you think I’m right/wrong, and try to improvise! Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Scaling The Red Line: The Strawhats

Who will complete the Strawhat crew? These guys, in order:

Yes, Jinbe, Tashigi, A warrior from Elbaf and Smoker.

Now, now, I know most of you will be skeptic, since every One Piece fan got their own set of nakama wishlist and own set of theories, but please bear with me.

So far, Luffy got 8 crew members, we all know he said that he wanted “at least” or “about” 10 crew members before heading out to Grand Line when the series was released on 1997. But in the Arlong Arc, Luffy decided to enter the Grand Line after taking Nami back, he got just 4 people by that time and stating that “I can get more in the Grand Line!”, this was in 1999.

So somewhere along the way, Oda’s plan changed.

And by “at least” 10 nakamas, I think we can pretty much assume that 10 crew members (except Luffy) is just a benchmark, but it could be more.

The “at least” statement was reiterated at the One Piece Green: Secret Pieces:

and crewmembers MEANING, people who actually travels with them.

the current members were confirmed to be currently 9 (so Vivi, Carue, Going Merry or Thousand Sunny does NOT count)

And obviously, these does not include Thousand Sunny or Going Merry because Luffy proclaimed its gonna be AT LEAST 10 “PEOPLE.”

But wouldn’t Oda have a hard time balancing and giving spotlight to more than 10 Strawhats?

I don’t think Oda will have a hard time developing or processing and giving spotlight in each character, first of all, he already developed the old ones in the crew and he’s developing the new ones, it’s actually been a long time since the Strawhats had a new member. They still have development here and there as well.
And you really can’t complain that much with Robin and Ussop. Ussop development is basically his whole dream, so he does not have a role in the series anymore if he achieve his full development, and Robin and is one of the most important character in the series, so though she may seem like she’s getting left behind, she will definitely blossom at the tail-end of the series.

We can look back and see all the arcs of the series, Oda juggles and gives spotlight to his characters just fine, Oda even adds supporting characters in the mix like Wiper and Gan Fall in Skypiea, Paulie, Iceburg, Kokoro, Chimney and Gonbe in Water 7 Saga, Lola and Brook in Thriller Bark, Hacchi and Duval (and the Supernovas) in Sabaody Archipelago Arc, Jinbe, Sharley and Shirahoshi in Fishman Island, Brownbeard, Mocha, Law and Kinemon in Punk Hazard Arc, and need I say the crazy Dressrosa Arc?

For those who do not know, One Piece was just planned to run for just 5 years when it was released in 1997! Arlong Arc was released in 1999 meaning that Oda decided to extend the series longer and insert some new characters by that time, he even inserted the 11 Supernovas last minute before he made the Sabaody Archiplego Arc.

Did you know who he included in the crew that time? This girl:

NICO ROBIN.

I assume Robin was inserted in the crew because Oda had turned the series from a fun-action-packed-shounen into a fun-action-packed-shounen-with-some-deep-shit. Because Luffy’s character is not the one to care for such things as history, so the author needed a character like Robin to fill the Archeologist role.

Oda though, also said that he already planned the ending of the series, and even though he adjust and insert things to add elements to the story, the story is pretty much set in stone, so, my point is, even without Nico Robin, the Strawhat Pirates are destined to fight the World Government and the Marines as one of the last (if not the last) enemies in the series.

But the question is, even if we include Nico Robin in the mix, should not there be a Strawhat whose dream is to change the World Government System? Because no one in the crew would be fighting against corruption anytime soon (unless they need to rescue or avenge a friend) and no, not even Robin wanted to change or fight the system, all she wanted was to learn the True History.

Robin never intended to fight the ones who erased the history.

That’s when it hit me: someone actually fits to this description, and he was introduced way too early in the series.

This guy:

The Stray Dog of the Marines: Smoker.

I will assume that Oda already had the Strawhat Pirates completed even before he started the series, well, until he inserted Nico Robin in.

That’s when the series changed some things and extended it’s story for almost 20 years now.

The point I’m trying to make is that, these characters’ “recruitment points” that are supposed to be in the original cast were delayed because of Robin, and their recruitment was delayed because they play important roles at the final stretch of the series especially Smoker.

To be specific, Smoker’s dream directly complements Nico Robin’s and Tashigi’s dream is directly related to Zoro’s and the Elbaf recruit is directly related to Ussop’s.

And we all know that Jinbei is more or less a lock to be in the crew, another point is, just like Jinbei, Smoker and Tashigi were introduced early in the series and the Elbaf Warrior is hinted early in the series.

I think Oda did this to have the readers get familiar to these characters like Jinbei, which is logical, since New World is the last half of the series and there would be little time to introduce and develop new characters that would be inserted in the crew to connect to the readers.

And I think these 4 (Jinbe, Tashigi, Elbaf Warrior and Smoker) are in the original crew anyways and just got pushed back because of the need to set-up the story for Nico Robin and the Void Century angle.

Let’s look at the early sketch of the Strawhat crew:

Here we see that Oda-sensei is already decided on Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ussop, Nami and Brook.

Now, let’s examine the other characters that Oda intended to put in the crew.

Let’s observe the picture closely.

Aside from Sanji, Oda is planning to insert another chain-smoker in the crew, and do you guys noticed the plant-loving guy? He wears a bandana (I suppose that gone to Zoro), but he had a spiky hair which is almost similar to a pre-time skip Smoker.

I do believe the spiky haired, chain-smoking guy turned out to be Smoker.

Also, please observe that Oda intended 3 swordsmen in the crew, so far we have two, that’s Roronoa Zoro and Brook, see that polo-wearing reindeer swordsman?, the reindeer turned out to be Tony Tony Chopper and got the chibi-size of the intended shipwright of the crew, that turned out to be Franky.

Now, if you see the photo above, you can see that Nami was originally planned to be a melee fighting girl who had a metallic arm.

The metallic thing went to Franky obviously, but Oda clearly wants a melee fighting female in the crew, now, add that to the polo-wearing swordsman:

I believe this turned out to be Tashigi:

Now, the axe-weilder I believe will become the Warrior from Elbaf and the supposed to be small shipwright who looked like a Fishman/Klaubatermann (remember the Catfish Fishman in Hacchi’s side story? I think he would have been the crew’s shipwright) became Jinbei.

And there’s a small panel in the lower left side of the early sketches of the Strawhat Crew, its nothing important, but I might as well show it, this just shown the current Strawhats and the plant-loving guy that was changed into Nico Robin (obviously, the rest of the characters would not be shown.)

Now, this is not an absolute evidence, but its a safe assumption that Oda would like to go this way on his original crew before he decided to add Nico Robin and extend his 5 year series to an epic novel that is still on-going after almost 20 years.

Luffy – Gear Fourth Theory Thread

Oda stated that Luffy might get a new technique : “Luffy is about to face Doflamingo. It is plausible that in two months, fans will get to see Luffy’s much-awaited new technique without the special spilling any beans”and he may be referring to Gear Fourth. Now, what could Gear Fourth actually be?

Gear Second was blood, Gear Third was bone… My idea is that Gear Fourth is muscle/flesh.

I thought it’d be interesting if he took full control of the elasticity of his body. In my idea of Gear Fourth, he retains the same shape, but gets slightly darker, like a lighter version of Armament Haki.

He’d fight in this way without stretching, as we’re used to with the rest of his gears. When he fights in Gear Fourth, he takes any blow, or counters it with one of his own, has his body internally vibrate, strengthening the attack, and returning the attack with his own power plus the force he was hit with almost immediately.

Say someone punches him, and Luffy counters his punch by punching him in the fist (because that’s how he fights) the opponent’s strength shockwave travels through Luffy’s body, into his attack on the other side of his body. When Luffy swings and hits the opponent with his next punch, the force of that punch is Luffy’s, plus the force the opponent hit him with at first.

Now, he could chain these attacks, as each successive attack could be considered stronger than the last (force waves bouncing back and forth inside of Luffy’s body, allowing Luffy to strike at the right times to build them up and make them stronger).

Another idea I thought of is, Luffy could go Gear Fourth, and start punching into his hand as he usually does before battle, and he just keeps punching harder and harder, faster and faster, building up the force, and then smashes the opponent in the face. That’d be an interesting introduction, since Luffy had trouble fighting previously with Gear Second and Third.

The downside, because every awesome bonus must have a downside:

One, if he doesn’t connect with a hit after building up successive hits, the force just propagates uncontrollably throughout his body and he goes back to regular Luffy, with his limbs/body flailing everywhere as the forces he’s been bouncing back and forth in his body are unleashed. Doesn’t necessarily cause bodily harm, but it makes Luffy temporarily lose control, for longer and stronger amounts of time based on how much force he’s accumulated.

Two, and the real issue, if Luffy continues to attack like this and doesn’t win in time, the forces inside of his body could build up enough to literally tear him apart. With this, if he gets to a certain point where he hasn’t won yet, he’d have to force himself to miss and hope that the guy he’s attacking doesn’t take advantage of the fact that he’ll be vulnerable when he loses control of the forces inside his body.

Maybe after some training he can learn to ground himself before building up too much power.

Blackbeard’s Darkness Awakening or the Power to Absorb a Sea Devil

So I came up with this theory a while ago, and I posted it on a different site, but I don’t see anyone talking about it here.

I believe that Blackbeard consuming the Gura Gura No Mi’s power is directly related to the Yami Yami No Mi, or his Darkness Logia powers. His logia is very unique in that he absorbs all the damage dealt to him, even if it doesn’t injure him. Normally to make a logia feel damage, you would either have to attack them with haki or attack them with their elemental weakness (i.e Crocodile with water, Enel with rubber). I would be surprised if the Yami Yami No Mi is an exception to this rule, but integral to my theory is that whenever we’ve seen Blackbeard, he has always been surrounded by light, which would be the elemental opposite of darkness. I believe that this is the reason that Blackbeard is constantly damaged by attacks without haki even though he is a logia user.

I also think that it is well established that Blackbeard is very knowledgeable about devil fruits. He targeted the Yami Yami No Mi knowing what it looked like and the extent of its power, which to my knowledge is only the first of two times that has happened in the series (the other being Sabo going for the Mera Mera No Mi). He seems to have really studied it. Given that no one has had better understanding of their fruit before eating it other than Blackbeard and that awakening a devil fruit takes time and understanding of the fruit, I believe that Blackbeard is an awakened Yami Yami No Mi user.

However, this is problematic because, as I mentioned earlier, by being constantly bathed in light, he is constantly in a weakened state and hypothetically, he can not activate his awakened powers while weakened by light. The answer would be to block out all of the light. The beauty of my theory is that when Blackbeard took the Gura Gura No Mi, there was a black cloak draped over Whitebeard. Presumably this was so that the rest of the world couldn’t see what Blackbeard was doing, but I personally believe that Blackbeard was blocking out all of the light so he could access the true darkness power of the Yami Yami No Mi.

Now to theorize what an awakened darkness fruit awakening looks like. Blackbeard said that the Yami Yami No Mi has the power to absorb anything, and even bragged about how it suck in the devil’s power from a devil fruit user as long as he’s touching them. I believe that the touching is required to block out the light so the darkness can absorb from the opponent. However, if Blackbeard is able to fight in total darkness, then the light no longer keeps him bound to his vulnerable human form, and he can become the darkness logia that the fruit intends. In this form, with the true power to absorb anything, it isn’t hard to believe that he could completely absorb the devil from either the husk of a dead devil fruit user or a devil fruit with the power inside.

I personally think this makes more sense than the Cerberus theory but let me know what you guys think!

The New Yonkou – More than four?

May 2017 bring happiness, health and creativity to you and your special few ;). After a big holiday break(and some personal/work responsibilities after that :P) we are back with a theory about the New Yonkou and who they are gonna be in the future of the series.

Since the yonkou were introduced, i have been intrigued by them. The strongest pirates of the sea who rule the New World? Shanks is one of them? I couldn’t wait to see them in action. When we had the chance to do that in Marineford, i just couldn’t stop watching.

The Old Yonkou

Up until now we have only seen one change in the four emperor line-up. The fall of Whitebeard and the rise of the abominable Blackbeard. But before this happened, the four original Yonkou seemed like legends before our eyes.

Edward Newgate, the man who in his prime stood at the same level of power as Gol D Roger. Yes, in Marineford he may have been weaker than the other Yonkou(though that is still up to debate), but he was old and sick and he still wreaked havoc. Imagine him young and vibrant. After all, he kept the position of Yonkou for longer than anyone and he was considered to be the strongest man alive during the war of the best.

Akagami no Shanks. The man who gave Luffy his hat and one of the very first characters that were introduced. His crew is small, but probably they all possess enormous power. You don’t need many members to be powerful, just some elite ones will do the job and i believe that is the case with the Red Haired Pirates. On top of that he only has one hand, yet he still entered the Marineford War with his crew and ended the fights by just showing up!

The King of the Beasts Kaido. What’s more to say about him than that he is the strongest creature alive. Not to mention the fact that he cannot even die and that he commands a huge crew of zoan devil fruit eaters like the monster that Jack is.

Big Mom. The only female yonkou and one that can send shivers down our spines. They say that you can’t deny the invitation of Big Mom at her tea party and that truly says it all about her. She really is like the godfather of One Piece.

Marshall D Teach. One of the most hated characters in One Piece and probably the man who will turn out to be the last villain and the ultimate challenge for Luffy and the Straw Hats on the road to One Piece. After all, he was the reason Ace got captured and eventually died. Really powerful possibilites lie ahead regarding him, really important character in the story. Now he even has a hugely powerful crew with the prisoners from Impel Down. Scary stuff!

The New Yonkou

Let’s start our discussion with the possibility that the landscape regarding the yonkou may change in the future. I believe it is wise to stay open-minded in the chance that the yonkou in the future may not be what they are now. What if more than 4 emperors emerge?

What i mean is, that given the numerous powerful pirates that have emerged in the New Generation, it could be really possible for the balance of power to change in the New World. It could turn out to be, that more yonkou blackbeardthan 4 powerful pirates will be needed to rule the New World and keep the balance of power intact. Not to mention the continuing threat of the World Government and the Marines, who moved their base in the New World wanting to establish themselves as a power to be reckoned with.

That being said, let’s talk about certain characters that may play a big role in more detail.

X-Drake

X-Drake is now a part of Kaido’s crew, something that could have been expected due to his ancient zoan devil fruit power of T-Rex. It has been said he has an interest in reptiles and astrophysics, which indicates a possible high level of intelligence. A former Marine, which means he has a deep understanding of their inner workings. In the Sabaody Archipelago arc, he managed to stop the fight between Urouge and Killer, two other members of the Worst Generation like him, alone. That only shows a glimpse of his strength. A force to be reckoned with, having power, intelligence and knowledge of the world of One Piece.

the new yonkou

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! May 2017 bring happiness, health and creativity to you and your special few ;). After a big holiday break(and some personal/work responsibilities after that :P) we are back with a theory about the New Yonkou and who they are gonna be in the future of the series.

On top of that he only has one hand, yet he still entered the Marineford War with his crew and ended the fights by just showing up!

The King of the Beasts Kaido. What’s more to say about him than that he is the strongest creature alive. Not to mention the fact that he cannot evenoriginal yonkou die and that he commands a huge crew of zoan devil fruit eaters like the monster that Jack is.

Trafalgar Law

Another one from the Worst Generation, Tragalgar D Water Law. The question is, does he really want the One Piece? Not sure about that, because getting back at Doflamingo and bringing him down was his top priority and life goal till now. He fortunately survived this one, so now what? A really intelligent character, who knows how to be patient and plan, will play some major role in the New Yonkou landscape. Let’s not forget the immense power of his devil fruit. It may also prove to be a major tool to be used by the Gorosei. For more on that, check our National Treasure of Mariejois theory.

Eustass Kid

He seemed to possess a lot of potential, however his unfortunate encounter with Kaido, resulted in him getting beaten up and captured. His part of the story became interesting again, when Kaido told him to tell Luffy and Law that they are basically doomed after taking down Joker. This may get him back to the story, probably with some type of revenge, helping Luffy and the whole alliance to take Kaido down. That could potentially make him an important part of the future Yonkou landscape.

Jewelry Bonney

A few thoughts about Bonney. Many theories have emerged about her possible connection with Big Mom with all the eating and stuff. Also, about her possible age altering fruit, and the possibility of her being older than she looks, thus having a lot of experience regarding the world. Interesting character as well.

Basil Hawkins

I’m really interested in Basil Hawkins for two reasons. We don’t know what has become of him after the encounter of the Kid-Apoo-Hawkins alliance with Kaido. He probably escaped, which is pretty noteworthy considering Kid got beaten up and Apoo became one of Kaido’s crew. Did he just use their sacrifice to escape, or his devil fruit power helped him by predicting the future? And that is the second reason. A future predicting devil fruit. I really wonder how it will affect things in the New World.

Capone Bege and Scratchmen Apoo

Both are now the subordinates of a Yonkou. Bege of Big Mom and Apoo of Kaido. Could it be that they will play some role in taking down the two Yonkou from the inside? Quite possible.

the new yonkou

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! May 2017 bring happiness, health and creativity to you and your special few ;). After a big holiday break(and some personal/work responsibilities after that :P) we are back with a theory about the New Yonkou and who they are gonna be in the future of the series.

Since the yonkou were introduced, i have been intrigued by them. The strongest pirates of the sea who rule the New World? Shanks is one of them? I couldn’t wait to see them in action. When we had the chance to do that in Marineford, i just couldn’t stop watching.the new yonkou

Urouge

We have talked about how underrated Urouge is in our theory here. That being said, i think Urouge belongs in the sky. Maybe some ruler/yonkou of some kind, that could potentially lead to a clash of him and Enel, as we have already said in the theory.

Buggy

The biggest troll character in One Piece i believe. He has a huge following right now and a really versatile devil fruit that helps him escape many dire situations. It seems that luck is favoring him a lot. For me, if he doesn’t become the Pirate King, he will certainly be a Yonkou :P!

Who Is Stronger? Kaido Or Whitebeard – Shanks Or Mihawk?

I have strong feelings about people claiming this guy is stronger than that, etc.. My problem stems from the fact that we just do not currently have enough source material to make those sorts of claims but if you really want to insist that Kaido is this and that. Well… “He’s been defeated 7 times AS A PIRATE….” He is the strongest creature among ALL LIVING THINGS”. Now let’s break this down shall we? What is strength? What is the word “strongest” referring to when speaking about Kaido? Strength can mean many things.

Let’s take a step back. Let’s talk about Shanks.

Shanks has one arm. He has one weapon. Every single time we have seen him prepare to fight, he draws his sword. Therefore, we can conclude that Shanks is a pirate who mainly uses a sword to fight. Does this mean his status as a yonko and Mihawk’s status as a Shichibukai makes Shanks a superior swordsman? No. The show clearly emphasizes multiple times and has made undisputable the fact that Mihawk is indeed the world’s greatest swordsman. Does this mean Mihawk is stronger than Shanks? No. The show has clearly defined the Yonko to be the 4 strongest pirates in the sea and last time I checked, Mihawk IS a pirate. Notice a pattern yet? So, if they both primarily use swords, why is Mihawk the one with the title of “Greatest swordsman” and why is Shanks higher on the power scale? My answer? Haki. As we have seen established by Zoro when fighting Pica, the power of Haki varies between users, and we know Shanks possesses a significantly powerful haki and we’ve only seen small glimpses of his power as of yet. What does this mean?

Well, it means that Mihawk is defined as the strongest swordsman in the world because he has mastered the use of a sword. He can cut mountains, and perform long distance sword slashes.

Meanwhile, Shanks may not be THAT adept with a sword as to use it in such a skillful way, but the power behind his swings, the actual power brought on by his immensely powerful haki coupled with his ridiculous speed which we get a glimpse of when he dodges Whitebeard’s jug throw instantly WHILE SITTING DOWN, theoretically allows him to fend off Mihawk’s attacks seamlessly and win all their duels. Back to Kaido. “He has been defeated 7 times as a pirate”. “He is the strongest creature among ALL LIVING THINGS”. At this point, I know most of you probably know where I’m going but I’ll finish anyway. Kaido’ skin might be the most durable in the world; his muscles might be the biggest and strongest in the world; he might even have a strong resistance to haki due to his incredibly and abnormally tough skin, but it doesn’t mean he possesses a significantly powerful haki. And as this series has clearly wanted to push down our throats, HAKI IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING post timeskip.

Now, think about this for a moment… Why would an incredibly durable, incredibly powerful human being or creature who is obviously very confident in his power want to master something like Haki? Now, don’t misunderstand me. I’m not saying he doesn’t have haki. He probably, most likely does. It’s standard post time skip. However, why would he want to MASTER something like that? He doesn’t NEED TO! He is the strongest creature alive! This brings me directly to my next point. Whitebeard and Shanks are most likely two of the pirates who defeated Kaido those 7 times, the latter having actually been mentioned as having stopped Kaido when he wanted to fight Whitebeard. It has been established that both Shanks and Whitebeard possess or in Whitebeard’s case, possessed conqueror’s haki. And considering they split the sky in half with a casual clash, I’d say their haki was and is incredibly powerful.

Then, if you follow Oda’s pattern you realize that yeah, Kaido by definition may be the strongest creature among all living things, but it doesn’t mean he has a powerful haki and as we established earlier, haki seems to be the key to everything since the time skip. It also doesn’t mean he can’t be cut or beaten. And he has the scars and the reputation of being defeated and cut before by someone. On to my final point… I know… I have already written a book… it’s almost over, I promise…. What is Haki?

Haki is defined as the fighting spirit within people. That means that two people may have a strong fighting spirit and therefore a strong haki but the person with a slightly stronger fighting spirit will always win the haki contest. Now tell me this. Do you honestly think that a man who has made a hobby out of trying to KILL HIMSELF to the point where he wants to start a war with the entire world (Most likely to find himself someone who can finally kill him) has a strong fighting spirit? Sounds like his fighting spirit, his will to live, needs some sowing back together. So if we add up all the variables, we get Kaido the strongest creature among all living things that possesses a weak haki, or not as strong as others. Then we take Luffy, a man whose fighting spirit grows significantly with every trial he faces. A man, that when met with his match, overcomes the limits of his powers (as seen in Alabasta when he lost to crocodile twice on the same day but beat him the third time) to protect his crew and move further ahead toward his goal.

And then you tell me, you don’t know how in the world he’ll beat Kaido? Take a moment and rethink your logic.

The Secret Of Wado Ichimonji

Remember when Zoro was buying swords in Loguetown we have learned about cursed swords being (chapter 97) . The swords customer Ippon-Matsu told about cursed swords. Many famous swordsmen of the past have suffered tragic deaths after carrying around the cursed swords.

However, Zoro defeated the curse of Sandai Kitetsu with his luck (or maybe his demonic nature or his own curse) and then customer said that the swords chooses it’s owner.

First I thought that Wado Ichimonji is cursed too and after Kuina had fought with Zoro with katanas instead of bamboo swords, Wado Ichimonji chose Zoro his owner for his demonic aura. And Kuina inevitably died a few hours after this fight.

The point is that the circumstances of Kuina’s death resemble the description of the deaths by a cursed sword. But now I think It’s not that simple, firstly because Wado Ichimonji is considered to be a noble sword as it seems, even the name of the sword indicates that (it’s Straight Road of the Harmony). The sword chooses it’s owner, but a noble sword should have a special kind of motives to change it’s owner as opposed to a cursed sword. A noble sword should be like a noble swordsman, remember Ryuma with his rule: whenever someone touched their sword sheath with his, even by accident, Ryuma would immediately take this action as a form of challenge for a duel to the death (Monsters one-shot).

Or remember the battle between Ryuma and Zoro: Zoro won, so Ryuma gave Shusui to him. Even then, I think Wado Ichimoji could chose Zoro as it’s owner. I can see two reasons: Zoro is a descendant of the true owner of Wado or he carries the same will as the true owner.

I tend to think that Kuina took Wado for a fight without father’s permission, and Wado never did belong to her. Remember that Koshiro said girls would never be the world’s number one and the fact that he doesn’t like girl to take over the dojo could mean that he would never allow her to have her own sword.

Does Brook Know Big Mom From His Past?

First, i want to start with Brook’s age. We all know that he is really old. In this panel of Brook’s background story we can see that Brook is already over 90 years old (38 years old + 50 years flashback + 2 years timeskip).

In Brooks introduction he said: “It has been a long time since i began drifting on this sea”.
So Brook has the potential to have a lot of information of the past.
Here are two examples:
-Brook heard of the “Rookie” Gol D. Roger
-Brook knows about the Vismokes from the past (maybe he has a secret connection with them too)

Currently we are now on Whole Cake Island and Brook is facing Big Mom. Brook will definitely play a big role in this arc! It’s the Soul Queen against the Soul King! In the previous chapter we saw a really epic panel of Brook and Big Mom.
In the last panel we can see Brook, which is calling Big Mom “Young Lady”.

ow old is Big Mom? We can only speculate. It was never mentioned, but i guess about 70 years? (Whitebeard died with 72 and he is the same generation, like Kaido, Garp, Sengoku etc.)
When Brook is 90 years old it could be possible, that he met her in his past, when she was very young.
He is about 20 years older = 38 year old Brook meet 18 year old Big Mom (maybe she was hot… i doubt it) or at an earlier point, when she was still a little girl.
What do you think guys???
